The Ursuline Center Book Club will host two upcoming book discussion groups that are open to the public.

On April 17 at 6:30 p.m., the club will meet to discuss “The Kitchen House” by Kathleen Grissom. The story centers on a 7-year-old Irish girl who becomes an indentured servant in 1790s United States. Truths are uncovered and lives are at risk in this novel.

Books chosen by the Ursuline Center Book Club are available through the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. The group gathers in the meeting room of Prato Hall at The Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road.

There is no cost to participate, but free-will offerings are accepted. Preregistration is appreciated. For more information, call Eileen Novotny at 330-533-3831 or The Ursuline Center at 330-799-4941.
