Canfield’s Tim Nesnidol completed an accomplished junior year by competing in the national Forensics tournament in Indianapolis, finishing in the top 30 in the nation in the Humor category.
Last season, he placed at every tournament he competed in, which landed him with four second-place and six first-place trophies. He finished second in the state tournament for the past two years and was also district champion for the last two years. Most recently, Nesnidol finished as a quarterfinalist in the national tournament.
The Canfield team also finished second at the state tournament this year. Nesnidol hopes to continue his winning streak in his senior year and lead Canfield to a state championship. Canfield will be hosting the state tournament for the 2012-13 school year.
