MCCTC will have information about shale, oil, and gas at the Canfield Fair

The Mahoning County Career and Technical Center (MCCTC) will focus its efforts at the Canfield Fair on the careers and training opportunities available for the emerging shale and oil and gas industries.

Those interested should stop by the education building from 1- 3 p.m. each day of the fair to speak with instructors from various programs at MCCTC associated with the shale industry. The schedule for the fair is aviation maintenance technology and automotive technology on Aug. 29, truck and diesel mechanics and power equipment technology on Aug. 30, building construction and information technology on Aug. 31, job placement services and engineering technology on Sept. 1, and welding and collision repair technology on Sept. 2.
